Practice Canceled
NEYS swim practice is canceled tonight, Monday, 2/23. The Nazareth YMCA facility and pool will be open for swimmers to come in and swim individually; however, all age group programming and sports have been canceled for the night. If coming in on your own:
There is no need to do as much yardage as a normal practice, just focusing in on the 1-2 things you want to accomplish, do those, and feel strong in it. This type of hyper focused, individualized practice can be useful if: 1. If you don't fool around, 2. waste time dilly dallying, 3. get it done quicker than a regular practice. |

Initial Entry Deadline: Feb.11th, 6:00 pm In the notes section of the sign-up, leave your swimmer's event order of priority. Bonus events are allowed; see below. If you need a bonus event, leave the event you want in the notes as well. Swimmer may enter up to four (4) events, of which no more than three (3) may be individual events. If a swimmer only qualifies for one or two individual events, they may also enter bonus events up to the maximum of three (3) individual events including bonus events. The bonus events are the swimmers’ choice and they do not need to meet the minimum Q time; however, they may not exceed the maximum Q time. |

"Snow Plow" Invitational

Entry Deadline: Tuesday, Feb. 10, 11:59 pm If you didn't get a chance to swim an event at one of the recent meets, or if close to a QT and are looking for an option besides CHMC, then the Snow Plow is a good opportunity. This meet used to be popular years ago, but recently it is more like the Gobble Gobble; mostly just us and Poconos with a smattering of swimmers from other teams. However, for us it's closer than many other meets, conveniently scheduled this season, and it counts for times. :) Parents will need to time when there. |

We do A LOT of relays at this meet. Although the coaches create the relays (we choose the swimmers), swimmers will need to pay for each in the same way they pay for individual events. As a result, if you do not want your swimmer participating in relays at this meet, DEFINITELY LEAVE a NOTE in the sign up area informing Coach Drake.
