We are hosting Fluid Mechanics again this year for a swim clinic, and we hope to see you there.

The focus is on Hydro-Dynamics. This aspect of stroke technique is critical to understanding the relationship between swimmers' bodies and the water. Actually, many principles of Hydro-Dynamics may seem counter intuitive to some swimmers. Therefore, gaining an understanding of how to manipulate water formations and pressure fields is critical to linking drills and training to faster swimming.

Your swimmers will have heard us say, "get a feel for the water" during drills in NEYS practices. What they are "feeling" for are those pressure fields.

As a result, attending this clinic can be valuable for swimmers at all levels.
