Senior "Final Meet" Shoutouts

Avery Wallace - Avery has been on our team for 9 years and has always been a big part of us. From ages 8 to 17, she always demonstrated a kindness and caring for her teammates. She'd stay to cheer on others, or volunteer to help clean up, even when she was allowed to leave too. Plus, she was one of our "utility" swimmers. Even on last minute calls, she'd step up and swim any event she was asked. She is a true team player and a great sport. In her last races of her swimming career with us, she continued this tradition by swimming in the 400 Free Relay and achieved a Historical Top 10 Ten Time in the 100 Breast. She will definitely be missed.  

Katharine Amundsen - Katharine is a senior and this is her first year with us. However, she definitely had a big impact helping our girls defend their 1st place finish in the Madison Division. She has a great attitude, an excellent work ethic, and is a wonderful role model. In her last meet of her high school career she achieved a tough feat. Even after getting best times at PIAA Districts, she continued to get even better at YMCA Districts: 3 swims, 3 best times, and 3 Historical Top 10 Times - A great way to finish! :)
