    NEYS - No Dryland, 2/3 - 2/7

    Hello Bluefins,

    There is no dryland this week, 2/3 - 2/7, prior to the Madison Championships. Even those that lift on their own, if you want to improve your chances of popping out a fast time at Madison Champs, take a temporary break this week.  

    Although we are not tapering for this meet, we want to ease up a little on any potential muscle strain. We will begin again the following week, unless your focus is on doing your best at CHMC. In which case, do not lift anymore for this season.

    1. If going to Districts, and not CHMC, stop dryland this week, resume next week.
    2. If focused on CHMC, not qualified for Districts yet, stop dryland this week, do not resume. Focus only on swimming faster in practice and honing your start/stroke/turn technique.
    3. If not qualified for CHMC yet, do not lift anymore either. Focus on doing your best at Madison Champs.
