Dryland & Other Activities, End of Season, 2022-2023
Hello everyone,
There will be no more dryland for the rest of this season, 2022-2023.
Also, for every swimmer attending Districts/CHMC, please have them refrain from activities that could lead to injury. We do not want to see swimmers miss Districts or States because of a broken arm, leg, wrist, or other injury. I put this out there every year, yet swimmers end up missing Districts and/or States because of injury anyway. My point is, don't live in a bubble, but stay focused and take it easy.
No skateboarding, no basketball, no skiing, no rock climbing, no super wrestling matches in your basement, etc. In PE class, take it easy; it's a game in gym, not District Championships. If you're part of an official team for another sport in a league or school and there is overlap with the seasons, definitely prioritize swimming practice (tell your other coach your goals and your plan to balance both sports) and PLEASE TAKE IT EASY; it's only the start of their season, but it's our CHAMPIONSHIP SEASON. :)
See you on deck,
Coach Drake
