Hello Blue Fins,

There are just a few opportunities left for families to fulfill their volunteer requirements and there are a lot of families that have not logged any volunteer time. As a reminder we charge a $100 work bond for families that do not meet the volunteer obligations. Our goal is to not collect this work bond and we would rather have every family volunteer.

Here are some of the opportunities to volunteer:

• Pocono dual meet (1/14) - We still have an opening for two level 1 officials and one timer. You can sign up through the usual link on our website. If you want to volunteer at this meet and everything is full I can remove someone who has already met their requirements. You need to email me to let me know because I am not going to remove someone who is already committed unless I get a firm commitment from you.
• Winter Luau (1/15) - CERTIFIED OFFICIALS ONLY - They are currently looking for level 1 and 2 officials who are interested in helping as well as an experienced meet manager. Please email me directly if you are interested.
• Champs (1/21 & 1/22) - Each team is required to provide a minimum of 3 timers and 1 certified official for each session of the championship meet. There are five sessions and I would encourage you to sign up for the session(s) that your swimmer will be competing. You can use this link which will take you to the signup genius to sign up for the session you choose (Champs Volunteer Signup). Please let me know if you sign up as I will not be attending every session and I want to make sure that you get credit for volunteering.
• Distance Invitational (2/5) - Each team that has a swimmer entered in a session must provide at least one certified official for the session. Timer volunteers are also encouraged and there are a limited amount of timer slots available. You can use this link which will take you to the signup genius to sign up for the session you choose (Distance Volunteer Signup). Please let me know if you sign up as I will not be attending every session and I want to make sure that you get credit for volunteering.
• CHMC (2/25) - For teams entering 10 or more swimmers in a session a minimum of three timers and one official must be provided. You can use this link which will take you to the signup genius to sign up for the session you choose (Charlie Hartley Volunteer Signup). Please let me know if you sign up as I will not be attending every session and I want to make sure that you get credit for volunteering.
• YMCA District Championship (3/10-3/12) - There is currently no signup genius, but they are always looking for both timer and official as volunteers for this event. Once the sign up information is available I will send it out.
