EMAC 25th Annual Invite (USA Only)

    • Date: 1/27/2023 - 1/29/2023
    • Initial Entry Deadline: November 23rd, this Wednesday.
    • This meet often fills up fast and closes out even before their official deadline. So, any of our USA swimmers wishing to participate NEED to sign up by 11/23, this Wednesday. In that way, we can at least send in our initial entries and get in the meet. We can always submit additional entries later if EMAC is still accepting them for anyone not sure right now. Please know though, this is also one of the back-up dates for Madison Championships or a dual meet, so you may not be able to attend every session you sign up for.

    Long Distance Challenge Fundraiser

    Date: Sunday, 11/27

Thanksgiving is a great time to generate interest and get sponsors for your swimmer's Long Distance Challenge fundraiser. Attached are the assigned groups which dictate the length each swimmer is required to complete. There are ALWAYS differences and changes made for some swimmers between their training group and LDC group, so definitely take a look and know which time your swimmer should arrive.

    • LDC Silver: Arrive @ 8:00 am, Start: 8:10
    • LDC Red/White: Arrive @ 8:45 am, Start: 8:55
    • LDC Blue: Arrive @ 10:00 am, Start: 10:10

Red/White/Blue start times are approximate because we put swimmers in as space becomes available and enough timers are present. By the way, parents, please feel free to stay to help count. 🙂

Also, please bring the fundraised amount as cash or check(s) made out to the “Nazareth YMCA”. It’s highly preferable to hand it in on the day of, but you can still give it to me later too. If you fundraised anticipating a certain length your swimmer will do, and now the length has switched, it's no big deal. Since all swimmers are required to finish their assigned length, it's not an amount per lap that determines the final total, but the overall contribution of each sponsor which calculates to an amount per lap. The chart on the fundraising sheet is just a guide.

Current purchase items requested for 2022-2023 - Past fundraising being put to good use.
