Good afternoon everyone,

The scheduling of our post season meets this year is not ideal and is unusual compared to previous seasons. So, please look carefully at the following to determine which days you know you'll be available at Districts and potentially States.

For Example: Events swam at Districts on Friday (3/11) will be swam at States on Thursday (3/24). 

Only the top 4 in each event, plus the next top 4 fastest times from across all three Districts (East, Central, West) attend States. Since Districts will require some swimmers to miss school on Friday and then again potentially the Thursday/Friday of States, if you know there is a day you cannot attend, be sure to leave a note to me in the attendance/event choice module on our website for Districts. If you are not available for relays on a certain day, or are available ONLY for relays on a certain day, let me know that too. Although you may choose individual events that will work for your swimmer's schedule, I still need to know so I can plan relays, and I'll also double check to make sure the schedule will work with your chosen events or if there is a better choice for your swimmer. 

Also, we attend Districts and States as a team. Although we always keep in mind individual goals, we weigh those against team considerations too, with team priorities taking precedent unless there is a compelling reason to make an exception. This also means that swimmers are required to stay for the full session(s) they are scheduled to swim (not necessarily the whole day or meet, but the whole session).
