Hello Blue Fins,

Just a quick note to thank and introduce our volunteer chairs for the 2021-22 swim season.  Each of these swim parents have offered to volunteer their time to help make sure our Blue Fins have a great season and I am very appreciative of their support.

Volunteer Coordinator - Meghan Uliana ([email protected]) - Meghan will be coordinating the volunteers for all of our meets this season. She will also be reaching out if we have specific volunteer needs or if we end up needing a last minute volunteer once we arrive to the meet. If you have any questions regarding volunteering at a meet you can reach out to Meghan directly.

Lead Marshalers - Greg Nungester ([email protected]) & Jill Olexa ([email protected]) - Greg and Jill will be coordinating the marshals at our dual meets this season. One of them will be at each meet to help get our marshals assigned to their group of swimmers and to provide any guidance needed during the meet.

Social Coordinator - Lisa Vargo ([email protected]) - Lisa will be coordinating our social events this year such as a holiday event, end of year event, etc. Lisa will definitely be soliciting volunteers to help plan and support any events. If you are interested in helping or have ideas please reach out to Lisa directly.

Hospitality Coordinator - Lorraine Johnson ([email protected]) - Lorraine will be coordinating our snack stands at our two home meets this season. She will be connecting with anyone who volunteers to work the stands as well as coordinating donations of items to be sold during our home meets. If you are interested in supporting the hospitality stand or have any questions please reach out to Lorraine directly.

Bead Coordinators - Kelly Finnamore ([email protected]) and Nicole Mina ([email protected]) - Kelly and Nikki will be putting together the best time beads and getting them distributed after each meet. Their goal will be to have the beads in mailboxes within a couple days of each meet, but please be patient with them as this is a tedious process. If you have any questions regarding the bead program or ever feel that your swimmer didn't get all of their beads please reach out to Kelly or Nikki directly.
