Nazareth/Easton YMCA Swim Team Tradition

Spirit Night - Thursday, Nov. 11 (be sure to read Decorated Flags info below)

• "Flags" decorate the hallway on Wednesday night; please stop by to help at 7:00 pm.
• Swimmers receive dog tags for achievement beads.
• Swimmers do cheers and get hyped-up for 1st dual meet (Nov. 13 @ North Penn).
• Review meet expectations and procedures.
• Review team goals & introduce individual goal sheets.
• Team shirt orders (possibly caps) distributed.
• Introduce team captains.

Silver, Red, White Training Groups: Same practice session times.

Blue Group: 7:00 - 8:00 pm, No dryland

Parent Decorated Flags

• Small paper "flags" will be placed in each family's team mailbox by this Thursday evening, located in the YMCA lobby (filing boxes on the white table, labeled with last names). 
• Each family decorates and includes a positive message to their swimmer; don't tell them though, it's supposed to be a surprise.
• Place decorated flags in the "Rizzardi" folder in the mailbox file by next Tuesday night. Kevin Rizzardi is our Parent Liaison. 

Team Captains Selected: Wednesday, Nov. 10 (announced to the team on Thursday).

• Four captains will be selected (age 13/Above, at least one year on the team)
• Coaches select one male, one female captain.
• White Group, Blue Group, and 11+ Red group vote for one male, one female captain.
• Captains give speeches at White & Blue group sessions.
• 11+ Red group may stay after practice to vote in the White group session.
