Schedule Updates

• October 18 - Team Suit Try-ons, 5:00 pm - 6:45 pm at the Nazareth YMCA, before or after your swimmer's practice, not during.
• November 18 - Team Pictures, 6:00 pm - 7:00 pm, Nazareth YMCA gym. See the team schedule for proper attire guidance.
• Home Dual Meets will be held at the Slate Belt YMCA this season. :)

Dual Meet Sign-Ups 

• DECLARE "Attending/Not Attending" for all dual meets. 
• EVEN if "NOT ATTENDING", definitely declare this. Dual meet line-ups take 6-7 hours to complete, changes are difficult to make last minute, and are delicately balanced, so the more declarations I know earlier, the better it is for everyone.
• These are considered "mandatory" team competitions. 
• Unless you have another priority family function, plan to attend if at all possible. This decision is a parental one, NOT a swimmer one.
• Go to neys.swimtopia.com, go to "Schedule" drop down menu, "Meets/Events", "Meet Entry", click "Edit" (at the bottom), choose "Attending/Not Attending" click "SAVE".
• Leave a note if arriving late or leaving early, or have an event request. 
• Event requests normally cannot be included, but sometimes it works out. 
• Arriving Late/Leaving Early: ALL SWIMMERS ARE EXPECTED TO ARRIVE ON TIME AND STAY THE WHOLE MEET. Exceptions are for parents that inform me ahead of time and have a significant family obligation, like going to work, attending a long planned event, etc. We are a team and all swimmers must stay to the end with swim suits on until dismissed. Like any other sport, athletes are not allowed to change out of uniform and leave the bench just because they are not playing in the last quarter. We may need to put them in another event, they may have forgotten they have another event, and they should definitely cheer their teammates on and help clean up at the end of the meet.
