Good morning everyone,

We are always in need of Level 1 Officials, Level II Officials, Administrative Officials, and Meet Manager computer operators in order for us to run and participate in swim meets. Please consider getting the training for one of the above. A list of classes can be found on our league website, penndelswim.org. There are a few that are offered online and some in-person. The closest in-person class to us so far posted is in Dunmore, Pa (near Scranton - about 1 hour from the Nazareth YMCA). Some classes say "Invitation Only", but that's to limit it to just PennDel YMCAs (which is us).

Even if not interested in becoming an official, I highly recommend everyone join the PennDel League website, http://www.penndelswim.org/. 

The league site is a great resource for families & swimmers. It's full of information, such as pool locations, YMCA contacts, results for all league meets and swimmers (just in case you want to see where your swimmer ranks and scope out the competition), championship meet dates and locations, and training opportunities.

We still have other volunteer positions too, that need no training at swim meets though (timers, runners, marshallers, etc.).
